At By Kendal, we appreciate the significant role that beauty plays in confidence. Kendal understands the importance of enhancing natural beauty and this is reflective in her style of both beauty and makeup work.
From humble beginnings in Nelson, NZ and spending her high school years working in hair salons gaining valuable skills with styling and creative work, Kendal extended her skill set and trained in the creative capital of Wellington as a Makeup Artist in 2009. Quickly followed by her Beauty Therapy and applied aesthetics diploma in 2011. This combined her love for both makeup and the beauty industry.
After spending 2 years at a Christchurch based nail and beauty studio, Kendal’s love for brows and beauty grew. Before long Kendal’s desire to excel had her creating a bespoke mobile service which distinctly set her apart within the Christchurch beauty industry.
After 7 years working solely mobile, she outgrew her mobile clientele and By Kendal was born. Kendal opened her first studio in January 2021 creating a welcoming, safe and luxurious space for you to feel pampered.
With over 12 years experience, By Kendal offers a wide range of treatments specialising in Eyebrows, Eyelashes and special occasion makeup.
With Continuous education and learnings, Kendal steadily built her repertoire which resulted in brows and lashes becoming her speciality. She thrives in knowing how much of a dramatic change she can make in someone’s life all starting from a simple brow shape.
Throughout Kendal’s career she has preserved a warm, welcoming and personable approach allowing clients to feel at ease in her care.
